Dear Signore Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, your life history was a wreck and your creations have horrors within them, the primitivity of desire, cruelty and fear you have bestowed upon us with your works, it reflects upon the modern circle of life that is naturally cruel and competitive. even with these divine laws and rules to keep us in bay, the humanness of our existence still cannot precede those divine laws bestowed upon us. your life itself was the picture. people call you and your art disturbing and horrific but to me, it reflects how the innate-ness of one's existence that brings the primal side of everyone, even the most perfect gods and angels.
Dear fragile SeñoraFrieda Kahlo, your life and works have been both horror and inspiration. Your life, your shame, your pain and especially the torment of your womanhood that are reflected on your creations are felt very deeply and understood immensely. your paintings were called disturbing and too intimate because how deep and torturous your pain was, should not be represented as women should put themselves as happy, cheery and soft creatures. you didnt, you represented how exhausting and exhiliarating pain can be and how it corrupts us on the inside. thank you, i hope you can finally rest in peace and away from your pain. i wish you would've have met Ms. De Beauvoir, you two would have loved each other.
Deeply beloved and cherished Mr. Vincent Van Gogh, i must say you have fascinated and broke me. as i read about your life, your life filled with loss and sorrow....oh, how lonely you must have been. you only sold 1 painting in your lifetime yet, you and your paintings are one of the most renowned in the art world. people write movies about you, stories about you and even songs about you. but...it doesnt matter isnt it? just like that starry night, life is all but one life to live. you would never know how celebrated you are now. when i look at you and your creation, i see sadness and loneliness. that has motivated me to channel my sadness to something, like you did beautifully. there has always been something quite melancholic about the way i see you and it inspires me. your creations were always out-of-the-box and unconventional at your age wasnt it? therefore, just because people dont get you doesnt mean it should diminish who you are...right? your art has created ideas, philosophies and thought that has shaped and helped the world and you helped me too, sir. i am deeply thankful to you Mr. van Gogh, may you find peace and rest in your eternal sleep.
Dear Pan Zidzlaw Beksinski, first of all, i am deeply sorry for what happened to your family and your people during the war. you have always been unapologetic about your creation. you never shy away from using cosmic and horror elements to which it proves how horrifying historicity of war can be and its impacts on the human mind. you have always been bold as you leave room for interpretations open for your paintings. there always is room for subjectivity within your creation to which one can interpret your paintings with one's knowledge as well as imagination and sense of fashion. your art reminds me of the lovecraftian element of cosmic horror to which, your art disturbs one deeply yet it still just is and even with the accurate historicity of your art, the world as of now goes on. the indifference that is seen in lovecraft's works are seen in your work by me. your artworks have helped me immensely in my philosophy and art. i am sorry about the way you met your end, may you rest in peace.
Dear me, you have started this journey yet again where you truly ventured into who you were before. you write and paint now, you write and paint now, and im sorry once again, YOU WRITE AND PAINT NOW! you thought that part of you died when you fell into horror but now, you can rewrite yourself again. take your time and always be patient with yourself, even when your mind cant be kind to you. draw your very own reality and world, create with your pain and history. you can. you just can.
